The Minister of Interior participates in the Ministerial Conference of the European Union, the Middle East, and North Africa to establish a regional political dialogue on strengthening security cooperation.

Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, is participating in the Ministerial Conference of the European Union, the Middle East, and North Africa to establish a regional political dialogue on strengthening security cooperation.

This conference is being held in Lisbon, Portugal, on Thursday and Friday, November 13-14, 2025, with the participation of a number of European and Arab interior ministers and representatives of several regional and international organizations.

The conference will discuss a range of shared security issues between the two shores of the Mediterranean, including new security models, rethinking police cooperation to address evolving threats, and adopting a joint cooperation document to strengthen a structured political dialogue mechanism and a security strategy among the countries of the region.

The agenda of Interior Minister Al-Faraya also includes delivering a keynote speech on the Jordanian perspective, addressing the most important security challenges and issues facing Jordan in its regional environment, in addition to holding a series of bilateral meetings with a number of Arab and European interior ministers and representatives of regional and international organizations.
