Minister of Interior Inaugurates Express Service Office at Civil Status and Passports Department

Amman, February 23, 2026 - Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, inaugurated the Express Service Office at the Civil Status and Passports Department on Monday. The office was upgraded with support from Zain Jordan. The inauguration was attended by the Director General of the Department, Engineer Ghaith Al-Tayeb, and the CEO of Zain Jordan, Fahad Al-Jassem.

Minister Al-Faraya emphasized the importance of this upgrade and modernization of the Express Service Office in meeting increasing needs, improving the quality of services provided, and expediting them, given their continuous and urgent necessity for citizens.

Al-Faraya also noted that the Express Service Office's performance should be geared towards enhancing the customer experience and providing a more organized and efficient service environment, thus fulfilling aspirations for modern and effective government services.

In this context, Al-Faraya commended Zain for undertaking the office's redevelopment, which contributes to more efficient service flow, reduced waiting times, and a smoother, faster experience for visitors.

For his part, Al-Tayeb explained the importance of this office and its role in providing various services throughout the week, including official holidays, and its continuous operation until late hours, enabling visitors to complete their transactions according to their different circumstances.

Zain, for its part, affirmed that its support for the office's development stems from its firm commitment to its social responsibility and its keenness to strengthen its partnerships with public sector institutions and contribute to the development of government facilities. This directly impacts the improvement of services provided to citizens, and the company emphasized its continued support for national initiatives that contribute to modernizing the government work environment.
