Al-Faraya: Participates in the forty-first session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers

Interior Minister Mazen Al-Farayeh arrived today in Tunisia at the head of an official delegation to participate in the forty-first session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, where he was received by Tunisian Interior Minister Kamal Al-Feki, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Muhammad Bani Ali Koman, and a number of senior Tunisian security officials. The reception ceremony was attended by the Ambassador. The Jordanian in Tunisia, Abdullah Abu Rumman.

 

       Al-Faraiah heads the Jordanian delegation participating in the session, which aims to strengthen joint Arab security, ensure the security of the Arab peoples, and build on the development and modernization of security cooperation mechanisms achieved.

 

       In a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the session’s agenda will include the report of the Secretary-General of the Council on the work of the General Secretariat, the results of specialized security conferences and meetings organized by the General Secretariat between the Council’s fortieth and forty-first sessions, the results of joint meetings with Arab and international bodies, and the implementation of the decisions taken by the Council in the previous session. In addition to a report on the achievements of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in terms of training courses and scientific meetings organized by the university for workers in the Arab security services.

 

      Some financial and administrative administrative matters related to the work of the General Secretariat of the Council will also be discussed, and decisions will also be taken to appoint directors of the Arab offices operating under the umbrella of the General Secretariat of the Council, which are: the Arab Office for Supportive Security Services Affairs and the Arab Office for Combating Terrorism and Information Technology Crimes.
