Global Entry Program

Global Entry Program

• The Global Entry Program is a program offered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) under the Trusted Traveler Programs. It aims to expedite entry procedures for program participants who hold valid visas or permanent residency permits to the United States by providing them with special facilitations.

• Participation in the program is optional for citizens of several countries that have signed agreements with the United States to join the program, including Jordanian citizens.

• The program does not guarantee entry to the United States (it is not a visa), but rather facilitates the entry process.

• The registration and enrollment fee is $120 (non-refundable).

• Membership is for a period of 5 years.

• Membership is individual and is not automatically granted to family members or children. Each individual must apply separately through a parent or guardian who is a member of the program. Membership for minors under the age of 18 is free.

• Benefits of joining the program:

 Significantly reduced waiting times at US airports through dedicated lanes for program members.

 Expedited security screening procedures at US airports.

 No need to remove shoes, belts, or electronic devices at security checkpoints.

 Streamlined entry procedures at the Mexican border for those arriving in the US via land borders.

• To join the program, you must submit an application through the website (https://ttp.dhs.gov), pay the registration fee (US$120, non-refundable), and follow the application process, which includes an in-person interview at designated locations determined by the US authorities.
