Interior Minister Meets German and Austrian Counterparts to Discuss Joint Cooperation and Regional Issues

Amman – Interior Minister Mazen Faraya met today in his office with his German and Austrian counterparts, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser and Interior Minister Gerhard Karner. They discussed cooperation between Jordan, Germany, and Austria in the areas of security, combating organized crime, and refugee issues, as well as ways to enhance these cooperation in the future through the exchange of expertise between relevant stakeholders in the interior ministries of the three countries.

The meeting also addressed developments in Syria, where views were exchanged regarding supporting Syria in building state institutions and enhancing basic services and security, in a way that achieves stability in the region and helps refugees voluntarily return to their country.
