Ministry of Interior: Iraqis allowed to enter Jordan without a prior visa via Queen Alia Airport

The Ministry of Interior has decided to allow Iraqi passport holders to enter the Kingdom via Queen Alia International Airport without the need to obtain a prior visa, according to ministry spokesperson Abdul Karim Abu Dalo.

Abu Dalo explained to Al Mamlaka on Wednesday that the decision was made to facilitate the passage of Iraqi citizens through Jordan, especially in light of the closure of Iraqi airspace to air traffic due to recent developments in the region.

He added that entry visas will be issued immediately at the airport after a brief interview with the relevant authorities, upon payment of the prescribed fees. He emphasized that travelers will be guaranteed safe departure until the situation returns to normal and air traffic resumes in Iraq.

Abu Dalo indicated that this measure is a temporary exception and comes within the framework of the facilities provided by the Kingdom to its Iraqi brothers in these exceptional circumstances.
