The functions and duties of the Department and its Divisions:

  • The Follow-up and Inspection Department always strives to implementing the national strategy and providing excellent services to its recipients in accordance with the currently applicable laws and regulations, and cooperating with all partners and concerned institutions through developing plans that are coordinated with all parties to upgrade the best services provided to the recipients.

  • Upon the directions of HE. The Minister, the Follow-up and Inspection Department strives to providing the best services, streamlining and simplifying its procedures, and working towards achieving the Department’s vision and mission that are targeting serving its services recipients.

  • Providing excellent services of high level to the recipients in accordance with the currently applicable laws and regulations in cooperation with all concerned partners and institutions.

  • Easing the difficulties that might be facing the fellow citizens of the National Palestinian Authority to be able to emphasize their Palestinian identity and maintain their citizenship inside Palestine.

  • Following up the implementation of the administrative and legal Disunion Decision with the Palestinian West Bank, and the subsequent instructions.

  • Following up the applications of the Residence Permits for the citizens of the West Bank.

  • Developing the statistics of the people’s movement through the Bridges (arriving from and departing to the West Bank).

  • Any additional functions related to the work of the Department.
