The functions and duties of General Inspector Office:

Monitoring the work of all the directorates to ensure the appropriateness of the administrative, financial, technical, security, and legal work and procedures, and that they are fulfilling their assigned duties.

Preparing the required reports about the types of shortages in the needs of the Ministry’s central directorates, governorates, counties and districts in terms of either financial, administrative, legal, or logistical needs, forwarding it to the concerned directorate at the Ministry, and following up its execution.

Receiving citizens’ and staff’s complaints and grievances (ombuds applications), and taking the required measures about them.

Participating in the investigation committees that are formed in accordance with the related legislations.

Following up the reports and clarifications received from the monitoring parties, and taking part in the process of responding to.

Supervising the distribution of the Royal Generosity Grants.
