Amman, June 3 - Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya met at his office today, Wednesday, with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, to discuss ways to enhance security cooperation and the importance of developing joint training programs.
Al-Faraya emphasized the deep fraternal relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Kuwait, praising the levels of security cooperation across various issues.
He also noted the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation in all areas of mutual interest between the Jordanian and Kuwaiti Ministries of Interior and the security agencies of both countries.
For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah expressed his keen interest in expanding security relations and exchanging expertise, which will open new horizons for cooperation between the two sides. He also commended the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obaidullah Al-Maayta, and the delegation accompanying His Excellency the Kuwaiti Minister of Interior.
