Interior Minister Lectures at National Defense College
Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya delivered a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College on Tuesday, titled "The Interior Ministry's Strategy and its Role in Jordanian National Security," to students in the 23rd Defense Course. The lecture was attended by the Commandant, the Head of the Directing Staff, and members of the college's faculty.
Al-Faraya stated that the Interior Ministry's strategy for maintaining Jordanian national security aligns with national objectives. He explained that the Ministry works through continuous coordination with various security agencies to strengthen the national security system. He noted that the Ministry's responsibilities extend beyond maintaining security and order to encompass several key areas, most importantly administration and development.
He emphasized that the concept of security is based on preserving the state's integrity and achieving political, social, and economic stability in a dynamic manner that evolves with changing circumstances, taking into account numerous considerations and closely linked to internal and external conditions and changes.
The Interior Minister further explained that the most important pillar of internal security is national unity, which is the foundation of security and stability in the country. Everyone works within an integrated system through which the Ministry strives to secure and protect the nation and society from all dangers. At the end of the lecture, the minister answered all the questions and inquiries of the attendees.
