Interior Minister Mazen Al-Farayeh discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries in the economic, political and security fields, when meeting in his office at the ministry today, Thursday.
During the meeting, Al-Faraya stressed the importance of promoting the level of existing cooperation between the two countries in a way that achieves their common interests in the security fields and the exchange of information and expertise in the field of combating crime of all kinds, noting that Jordan and Canada have close relations in all fields, which requires investing and activating them in order to achieve the aspirations and aspirations of the two friendly peoples. .
The meeting also touched on the waves of asylum that the Kingdom is facing, as the Minister of Interior confirmed that Jordan deals with refugees in accordance with humanitarian principles and legal rules applicable in this field.
For her part, the Canadian ambassador referred to the depth and strength of the historical relations between the two countries and the distinguished level of cooperation between them in various fields, expressing her country's desire to continue developing and strengthening them.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue efforts to enhance cooperation between them in various fields, and to maintain communication and coordination in the interest of the two friendly countries.
